Event Volunteers
For every running event that hoohaah organizes we need a team of volunteer marshals to act as our eyes and ears on the course. It is the number one responsibility of all course marshals to encourage our runners and cheer them on! Throughout our 10 years of race organization runners have never failed to heap praise on our volunteer marshals – they are a tremendous team many of whom return year on year to help us support the charity we are fundraising for.
Free hoody
In 2020 we would like to reward our volunteer marshals as we reward our runners so we are offering a ‘hoohaah Crew’ hoody to anyone who can marshal at three or more of our events. We are sorry but we to qualify you would need to do 3 runs or 3 marshals sessions. We cannot offer hoodies for a combination of running and marshalling.
Free Race Place
We are also offering free race entry to any hoohaah event as follows:
Marshal for a 10k race = free entry to a different hoohaah 10k
Marshal for a 10mile or half marathon race = free entry to a race of the same distance or free entry to a hoohaah 10k event.
These offers are not transferable to another individual.

No previous experience is required! All volunteers are given full instructions and will receive a tea/coffee voucher to be redeemed at the café of the venue plus a homemade cake or bar.
