This is an event to raise funds for Arthur Rank Hospice we would ask competitors to try to obtain sponsorship for their run. A suggested minimum figure to raise would be £25. However, sponsorship is entirely voluntary and is not a pre-requisite for entry to the run.
In addition we will be collecting food donations for the Foodbank at each of our runs. We will publish a ‘shopping list’ of food that is needed, as provided to us via the charity, just before each run. Donations are gratefully received but please donate items from the shopping list only.
Refunds will only be given if requested by the 4th September and will be subject to a 5% administration charge. Cancellations after the 4th September will not be entitled to a refund. Sadly, due to the administration involved we do not offer the chance to transfer your place.
Please note there is a time limit on the half-marathon of 3hrs. If our last runner feels you are unlikely to complete the run in this time you may be given a map to complete it if you wish but signs may well have been removed.
