Participants are free to enjoy the forest after the event for no extra charge. Participants will need to pay for parking before or after the event at the pay stations or High Lodge information point and cite the event code. The event code will be provided in the pre-race information email that will go out in the week before the run.
Most information can be found by visiting our FAQs page.
Information specific to this venue is covered below.
This is an event to raise funds for Arthur Rank Hospice Charity. We would ask competitors to try to obtain sponsorship for their run. A suggested minimum figure to raise would be £25. However, sponsorship is entirely voluntary and is not a pre-requisite for entry to the run.
In addition we will be collecting food donations for the Foodbank at each of our runs. We will publish a ‘shopping list’ of food that is needed, as provided to us via the charity, just before each run. Donations are gratefully received but please donate items from the shopping list only.
Refunds will only be given if requested by the 28th February and will be subject to a 5% administration charge. Cancellations after the 28th February will not be entitled to a refund. Sadly, due to the administration involved we do not offer the chance to transfer your place.
Entry Conditions
This is a multi-terrain event and all competitors enter it at their own risk. While medical assistance is provided for the duration of the event no liability will be accepted by either hoohaah, the Forestry Commission, the charity or individual race organisers for any injury incurred by entering this race.
Closing date for entry is midnight 20th March 2020 or when the race limit has been reached whichever is the earlier. Race limits are sometimes put on our events because of weather conditions or other events and issues that might be taking place at the Forest.
