Our Charity Partners
hoohaah 2022 events are raising funds for the fantastic charity Power2Inspire whose aim is to see a society where everyone can enjoy inclusive sport together and who deliver sporting events for everyone to enjoy regardless of age, gender, faith, ethnicity or disability.
Along with making donations at the registration stage, we would ask competitors to try to obtain sponsorship for their run. A suggested minimum figure to raise would be £25. However, sponsorship is entirely voluntary and is not a pre-requisite for entry to the run.
Why not use the dedicated Just Giving page for your fundraising
In addition we will be collecting food donations for Cambridge City Foodbank at each of our events. We will publish a ‘shopping list’ of food that is needed, as provided to us via the charity, just before each run. Donations are gratefully received but please donate items from the shopping list only.
Support our event – become a marshall
Throughout our 10 years of race organization runners have never failed to heap praise on our volunteer marshals – they are a tremendous team many of whom return year on year to help us.
If you have some time to give and enjoy spending it outdoors do please contact us at info@justhappen.co.uk. No previous experience is required!
Prizes
Custom designed medal for all finishers to be collected at the end of the race.
*** New for 2022*** If you would prefer to forego a medal we are offering a ‘Green Race Entry’ whereby hoohaah will donate the cost of producing your medal to global tree planting initiatives via Just One Tree. You will have the option to choose between a medal or a tree during the registration process.
Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers, and the first male and female in the following categories (over45, over55 and over 65)
The presentation of prizes will take place between 11 and 11.15am subject to getting the results from the chip timer. Only prizes for the first 3 men and women over the line will be awarded on the day. All other age category prizes will be posted after the event.
