Terms and Conditions of Entry for hoohaah Events 2019 / 2020
Entry Conditions
This is a multi-terrain event and all competitors enter it at their own risk. While medical assistance is provided for the duration of the event no liability will be accepted by either hoohaah, The National Trust, Forestry Commission, Arthur Rank Hospice, associated landowners or individual race organisers for any injury incurred by entering this race.
Pictures and video footage may be used on the hoohaah website or that of our sponsors and in advertising material and media write-ups. All competitors entering a hoohaah run agree to the possible use of their photograph being used for these purposes.
Refunds are only possible if requested by the date specified on a particular runs race information. Cancellations with less notice can not be refunded. hoohaah do not offer a transfer service.
As our runs are on private land it might be that we have to cancel a run through no fault of our own.
Please note: should we experience adverse weather in the week leading up to the race, and the Race Director in conjunction with the National Trust or landowner deem the conditions at the venue to be too bad; the Race Director reserves the right to postpone the race. In this event, a new race date will be agreed. We regret that should you not be able to attend the new date; no refund of your race fee can be made.
If the run is cancelled by the race organisers or venues themselves for another reason your entry fee will be refunded.
Entrants must be 16 years or over to enter the 10km. It is a condition of entry that all competitors agree to the terms and conditions as set out on the hoohaah website.
All competitors who complete the runs are entitled to a medal. Anyone entering the 10km series will be entitled to a hoodie on successful completion of all runs in the appropriate series. We will endeavour to give you the correct size hoodie but, subject to stock availability, we reserve the right to give an alternative size. There is no cash alternative to the hoodie.
hoohaah have a policy of NOT passing on your details to third parties outside of those used specifically for our runs. However, where a donation is made to our chosen charity via our website we do need to pass on your details for the SOLE purpose of allowing them to reclaim Gift Aid. The first 3 characters of your post code may be provided to the National Trust for data analysis purposes only. We also need to supply the chip timing company with your name, date of birth and running club in order for them to allocate you with a chip. Where medical information has been provided we do pass this on to the First Aid team to ensure they have the appropriate equipment to deal with a possible incident.
